چکیده
-In this paper, the suspended-membrane-type guided-mode resonance (GMR) filter based on silicon with a narrow bandstop spectrum is experimentally demonstrated. The resonance wavelength of proposed GMR filter is controlled at 1580.6 nm with a bandwidth less than 0.92 nm. The improved spectral performance including the sideband can be extended as far as 415 nm with the maximum transmittance greater than 93%.

Narrowing spectral width of green LED by GMR structure to expand color mixing field
The LED’s narrow spectral width and enlarged color gamut promotes its application as the backlight for large LCD panels. Compared to blue and red LEDs, the green LEDs have a wider spectral width, the main reason for cutting out undesired parts of the spectrum to enhance the color mixing field. In this study, we adopt guided-mode resonance filter with a narrow linewidth to reduce the FWHM from 3...

Novel approach in the design of 2−D extremely narrow bandstop FIR filters is presented. The completely analytical design method is based on the 1−D optimal bandstop FIR filters. The 1−D FIR optimal bandstop filters are based on Zolotarev polynomial. Closed form formulas for the design of the filters are presented. One example demonstrates the design procedure. One application of the 2−D narrow ...
